These awesome people to the left are going to Costa Rica in July. The Fundrasing has been going extremely well, and we are all blessed.

Some of the upcoming Fundraisers, Soup and Salad Lunch, Italian Pasta Dinner, Youth Stocks, Church Change Wars, and a HUGE HUGE Church Rummale Sale.

Our goal for the trip is to serve and to be stretched out of our comfort zone.

Homecoming '08

What an awesome night it was for all of our Youth. Nick Benstead was on the Springville Bulls float, Kelly & Alex where on the Jr Float. Along w/ our dashing band member, Miranada, Sven, Sara, Hillary, and Nevin was on the FFA float. It was a beautiful night as our very own Ashley Beeman was crowned Homecoming Queen! When the dust settled the on the evening the Griff's lost (sorry Sean, Tyler, and T.J.) Hope you danced the night away.

First Official Fundraiser....A Success!

Hey Guys! Just wanted to thank everyone for braving the cold weather and helping out with our hot dog and pop sale. You guys were awesome! I am happy to report that we raised nearly $425.00 on our own and with Wal-Marts matching system, we raised a combined total of nearly $850.00!! Not too shabby for hot dogs.

Heres to the beginning of another great journey!

Don't Get Hooked

Last night at High Impact we started with a IQ test (school has started time to think) We had a chance to test out intellect with the IQ Quiz. Thank you to Adam Beeman for hosting the IQ quiz answers (great Logic Adam!).

We also talked about being hooked by temptation. We look at the how

(a) Real Pressures + (b) real temptations = Real Consequences

Here are some ways to combat temptation

1) Accept what is True

2) Acknowledge God's Roles

3) Align myself with God's Ways

- w/ God's people

- Through God's Word

- w/God's Spirit

The IMPACT CUP

The Impact Cup results are being calculated as I write (yes, talented). It was the most intense, competitive (NOT!) We all had a blast. May of us had trouble keeping the ball on the green. There are 3 travel trophies to be awarded for (showboat award = "a good showoff", No Green = can't keep the ball on the Green, and a Whatever trophy = I just forgot the purpose for this award).

They will be awarded soon, but the best award is hanging out as followers of Jesus Christ. We had a great time of fellowship, and ended the night at the MALL (only 15% of the time was allotted for shopping....ahum...girls! lol).
